Swim and Bike The Northumbrian
If the run isn’t your forte, you can still take on The Northumbrian in the Aquabike event – completing the middle distance swim and bike. The Northumbrian is set in and around the beautiful Kielder Water, whose roads and trails known for their undulating nature – this race will not be easy on the legs! Please ensure you are confident in your ability to complete the course before entering.

Swim 1.2 miles:
2 laps in the breath-taking serenity of the famous Kielder Water, entry and exit via slipway. Wetsuits are mandatory.

Bike 56 miles:
1 lap through the stunning valley and a ride over the Border to conquer the challenging, inspiring roads. The majority of the route will be on open roads however there will be some partial closures for safety, the route will be fully marshalled including Moto marshals. Non-drafting, bikes must comply with British Triathlon rules.
